I'm not going to go into too much detail because it will speak for itself, but...

How the hell can EA and anyone on the Live team honestly think it is ok to use the same courtside announcer they have used since Live 1997.

Yes, that's right. This will now be the 14th year...

Even if you like the guy and the style, it HAS to be annoying.

For me, I hated the guy since day one. He can't pronounce names, has no emotion when trying to get excited and his 'fa twooooo' and 'the assist to...' just irritate the crap out of me.

To me, this is disgraceful. EA should be ashamed. I would like to hear an explanation as to why it is what it is.

I could barely hear the PA announcer in the Cavs vs Celtics video. Maybe I wasn't listening. I'm going to watch it again and see if I can hear the PA announcer.

So what....they will have team specific call outs this year for like chris Paul, Rudy Gay and others.

I really find him annoying. He should've been changed years ago, just to keep things fresh. Or use other announcers for different arenas.

Yeah the commentary is pretty dry. It ruins the overall feel of the game. Steve Kerr is boring.

With regards to the commentary we should wait and see when the game comes out and hear the dynamic commentary before we make judgments. In years past nba live has had the better commentary.
