CFN's Top 25 Quarterbacks

Pryor at #4 seems a bit pre-mature, but a decent list. There are five Big 12 QB's in the top 10.

Every QB in the Big XII looks like Dan Marino because they play no defense in the Big XII.

whatever. The Big12 is not like the SEC where you can practice all year for the same BS offense. If your team played Tech OU Okie State Kansas Mizzou Nebraska all in a row they would give up just as much yards if not more. when offenses like that play your team year after year they will find ways to destroy your defense.

maybe the SEC just has crappy offenses... ever think of that? Florida barely scores 24 points on an OU team that Texas hung damn near 50 on(both neutral site)

the big12 no defense thing is a BS myth perpetrated by ESPN because of their new contract with the SEC. *gags self with spoon*

Auburn would be the 4th or 5th best team in the big12 south. or 3rd or 4th in the north

There are more instances of Big12 offenses doing worse against SEC competition than the reverse.

The big12 has some good offenses and QBs but overall they are largely overhyped. This can be seen from the insane completion percentages every qb in the big 12 had a year ago.

As for the list. I agree Pryor at #4 is premature, but by years end he may be there.

Re: CFN's Top 25 Quarterbacks

its not the fact that Jarrett Brown isn't on here that makes this list a joke (although close), its the fact that Jimmy Clausen is perceived as a better quarterback than Jarrett Brown that makes this list a joke

BS myth

The SEC has not dominated the Big 12 -- the SEC only leads the Big twelve 15 to 13 this decade in head-to-head matchups, and that's with the SEC yet to return games on the back end of home-and-home series (OSU-Georgia, Colorado-Georgia, Kansas State-Auburn).

There is also an interesting trend in games. Divide those games into high-scoring and low-scoring, and a clear trend develops. In low-scoring games against the SEC, the Big 12 is 2-7. However, in high-scoring games against the SEC, the Big 12 is 7-4.

If you look at the facts, there have been at least as many high scoring games when it comes to big 12 vs. SEC matchups as there have been low scoring games...and like Max said, Texas almost hung 50 on the same OU team that Florida only scored 24 on. It goes both ways.

I didn't say dominated I just said more . The point I wanted to make is that the great defenses seen in the SEC are not simply a product of bad offense.

Since the guy earlier wanted to point out that Florida only scored 24 against OU I guess I should have also pointed out that the 14 points OU scored against Florida was the only time all year that they scored less than 30.
