Pass Defense In Madden NFL 10

So how do those of you that have the game early feel about the pass d...Doesn't it feel as tho sometimes it is psychic...Like defenders are running routes before the WR get a chance too...Almost a mirror image of the wr route...Which usually ends up in a deflection or a INT...Anyways what do you'll think of it...Oh yea this mostly happens in man d also

Well I played on just pro It was kinda easy to pass agist the AI. Then I would play on all pro and then the AI for the most part covered every play I did. They for the first time the other morning I played on all madden. It seems on all madden that my blocking was so much better and my defense was a little more aggressive and my WR would get open a little more. But the thing I relized why playing on All madden was the fatigue was not even hardly there and there was no injury while I was playing on all madden. If the fatigue worked more on all madden and there was injuries then I would play on all madden. But it seems to me all pro is the setting that the AI does it's best agaist human controlled team. But there is a thing called sliders this year. And steveo did confirmed that they really do work good this year. Sidenote I played this on demo not the final version.

What does this whole entire statement have to do with what I asked brah...You went off on a complete tangent...And who cares about sliders this yr...Folks shouldn't be touching the sliders cause this yr there is team based playcalling...So sliders IMO shouldn't be a factor...

When your in zone u play zone, when your in man u play man, point blank period. Its a lot better then ncaa's pass defense, u acutally need to kno how to pass the ball.

Have you even seen what I'm referring to...NCAA has the same problem..THE DEFENDER IS DOIN THE ROUTE BEFORE THE WR IS...Do you see my point..c'mon man dont be oblivious to a obvious problem brah...Knowing how to pass the rock has nothing to do with it

Also the defense align pre snap action hasn't been working for me. That pisses me off, when I look at the defensive assignments before a play and my defender is 8 yards away to the left of the player he is supposed to be defending in man coverage.

I've definitely noticed defenders running routes before the receivers to get in perfect position for a pick. I was thinking that the higher a receivers route running rating was the less defenders would be able to do that. Of course playing w/the Raiders a lot so most my receivers can't run routes that great anyways.

The worst thing to me though is user catching in that I'm not feelin the animations that my receivers are doing when I try and put them in position to jump for passes in traffic. Half the time they stick one hand out and reach for the ball while moving their body away from the action. The other half they do a really weird looking attempt for an over the shoulder catch. (And this is my 1st year on the PS3 coming from the orig Xbox so might be a lil xtra learning curve on all the animations)

Another thing I don't like in pass defense is when the db swats the ball and then latches on to the receiver and body slams all in one motion......I ain't never seen that on sundays
