Who is Chad Johnson?

PS - I don't know what an ankle sock sock is and thus, don't know if you'll be able to edit the players to wear them.

You mean Chad Ochocinco, right?

By ankle socks, I think OP means socks were only the ankle is white and the rest is the colored stripe.

I've read somewhere from Ian that varying sock lengths are NOT in the game, and from the multitude of videos and screens I've seen, that seems to be true. It's not a gamebreaker by any means, but because you do see varying different lengths on Sunday, it would be nice to see in future games.

Though some teams have longer stripes than others (Ex. The Giants sock stripes are longer than the Bears in Madden).

Doesn't the NFL frown upon shorter socks in video games? I could have sworn that was actually one of the original Blitz: The League's major selling points a few years back.

No you can't, Chad can't (well not suppose to) do it. It's against the NFL rules.

I personally think the NFL rules are full of sh-, but there's nothing we can do about them, EA has to follow them.

Ian said they're going to ask the NFL about the socks for the next Madden. Hopefully the NFL will lighten up.
