Anyone else seen this bug in franchise mode?

So I played a game this afternoon in my franchise. It was the first game of the series and the starting pitchers were Jurrjens(Me) and Pettite. I end up winning the game and then I let it do the auto-save thing like I usually do. Once it finishes saving I do a quick check of the standings and then turn the game off.

I just went to play the next game in my franchise and something has definitely gone awry. The first problem is that apparently their is no record of the game I played earlier today. The show still thinks it's the first game of the series. Even weirder still, is that all of the starters for the Braves and Yankees have been moved up a day. So now I have Derek Lowe and CC facing off for a game that I already played.

I tried reloading the the franchise a few times, but each time I had the same problem. Finally I just said screw it, and I went to play the game over. When I get to the SP selection screen I notice that Jurrjens is completely drained of his stamina, yet their is no record of him making a start anymore. In addition to this, two of my other starters are just as gassed as Jurrjens. It's as if they all threw 120 pitches the day before. Which was a day off, btw. Finally, I move on the the lineup to find that my position players are much more tired than they should be...

It's looking like it's going to be a long couple of weeks 'til the AS break now. What the hell happened!? Has anyone else seen anything like this? If so, is there any way to prevent this from happening again in my franchise?

Did an injury happen in your game by any chance? I know this has happened to me a few times when an injury has happened in the game and it doesn't record the game as being played anymore. You have to click on the game and even though it doesn't have a score, it will say the game is completed and bring up the game as being played again. You then have to resave it. If you don't click on the game and just turn off your system, when you restart, it will do exactly what you said where the game isn't recorded and your staff is drained. It's really weird and I always have to look out for it now when an injury has happened.

I think it's an issue with the auto-save feature (if I remember correctly).

I have it turned off, and after my game before I save, I always "sim to day" or whatever it is, so the schedule turns over to the next game.

I'm not sure if there's a fix for what happened to you though. Try a search because I'm sure this has been discussed on here before.

This is the way to do it, always "Sim to day" so that the rest of the games that day are finished before you save or it will be screwed up.

Damn. I usually do that too just to see the updated newspaper, lol. I guess I'll turn auto save off.. even though I kind of like it. I used to hate in previous versions of the game when I would play a game or two and then forget to save. I think I probably did this at least ten times last year. I can never get motivated to play these games over either. I usually end up simulating it until I get the same result in the win/loss column.

This problem was in last year's version as well. Sorry. Just make sure to manually save.
