Madden Release Day Patch

I read on Pasta Padre's site that there will be a release day patch and Ian spoke about it. Does anyone have information about this? I wasn't really aware of a release day patch to be honest...

I'd guarantee it, really. Between going gold and release day, there's going to be a fair amount of tweaking and fixing.

I'd be very surprised if it actually hit by release day.

But yes, a patch is needed for sure and that's just for the broken presentation pieces alone. I hope a lot of it was fixed before going gold, but I don't see how there could've been much time.

Please patch the player editing bug where you lose their draft information if you edit anything about a player! And it would also be nice if imported draft classes don't come in to Madden with scrawny arms and legs although they are a 225 lb running back.

From the demo, I hope they fix or tweaked how and when players break tackles,
even though Brandon Jacobs is big, I really don't see him breaking a 3 man tackle ..

i know people get upset that they have to release a patch on release day but i dont mind because at least theyre working on improving the game to make sure its as good as it can be.

This is not a problem for me because it does not happen often in Madden and same goes for real life. There are many instances though were guys have broken away from 3-4 guys in the NFL.
