Help with pass rush? (360 pre patch)

Ok so my only real concerns with this game right now is the progression fiasco and the lack of pass rush/working sliders.

I play most games in my dynasty so I havent gotten past my second year so really what i need is someone who has solved some issues with getting a decent pass rush in this game.

The cpu seems to often get a great pass rush going on me. I am constantly being pressured but except on certain occasions no matter what the talent level I cannot get any real pressure on the CPU QB.

I have tried different slider sets but as we know they dont work properly, I havent played on heisman yet because I figure that will only make things worse. The only pressure I have gotten is from always hot routing my linemen to take outside rush angles.

Anyone have any tips until the patch (which hopefully adresses this) comes out?

There is absolutely no problem at all with the pass rush. I play on heismans and on the regular setting and the computer continuously gets sacks and so do I. You cannot expect to sack opponents with only a 4 or 3 man pass rush. Also, good defensive ends always beat one on one coverage.

I've also seen no problem with effective pass rushing on heisman.

I play as Georgia Tech and my last game against the Hokies I had 6 sacks with my DE (was hoping for 1 more for the single game record but oh well). I also give up an average of 2-4 sacks a game (not including the ones where my option play gets annoyingly busted at the second the ball is snapped).

For the Human pass rush you NEED to utilize snap jumping and the stick moves.

The pass rush does produce some inconsistent results sometimes but I actually had a opposing QB's comp % at 50%. Never saw that last year. It requires using the game plan feature I have found.

Im sorry but I disagree. I havent played with heisman sliders yet mind you, but If I am playing with a dominant Defensive line there is no reason I shouldnt be able to at least get pressure with a 4 man rush 30% of the time, let alone have the QB standing in the pocket for days.

I have played with several teams including created juggernaugts and I still cant get any kind of rush with a 4 man set. I would understand needing to blitz against better teams, but I shoulnd have to consitently blitz Memphis to get pressure.

I hardly ever have all day to throw even with the best o line but the CPU seems immune to pass rushing. Iwill give heisman a try to see if it helps.

I tend to not blitz that much at all in football games (have always found unless I know for a fact they are gonna run it usually ends in me getting burned deep).

Given this, most of my defensive pressure comes out of the 3 and 4 man rush. I still don't have a problem if I have my defensive gameplan set right and I utilize crashes and the like correctly.

Think it just takes a lil more micromanaging this year to get an effective pass rush going. And as stated by another user th CPU completion % is usually around 50-60% mainly due to my pass rush making him throw bad passes (not robo-qb passes like last year).
