Anyone waiting to buy?

Curious if alot of people will wait like myself until all the bugs are fixed and rosters are named.

I told myself last year, rather then torture myself while I waited for patches and named rosters, I would just wait out the storm and get it when the waters settled.

That's a good plan. By the time the bugs get worked out, you'll be able to find the game for a good price on Ebay.

I got NCAA 08 on Ebay one month after it was released for about $48. Got fed up with the piece of crap and sold it 1.5 months later for about $5 less.

Yeah, I'm waiting to buy it until next year around this time before NCAA 11 comes out.

This buying games new for $60 crap, I'm done with it. I've already seen NCAA 09 at Target for 14.98, I'll wait for it to drop to the customary 7.48 and buy it. For 7 bucks I don't care whether I like the game or not. But just blindly buying these games for $60 when they ship with broken rosters, non-working sliders, and everything else, I'm just done with it. And that goes for games in general really. Buying games new is just not worth it. Not to me anymore at least.

I love the NCAA brand, and always enjoyed the game, but last year REALLY set me back, now to read and hear what is going on with this new version REALLY upsets me.

I was really hoping this years version woul dhave taken a step forward, but instead to an entire stride backwards. I will treat this years version as an importing players year, may just rent the game and get my 4 years worth of draft classes set for the beloved Madden series.

I definitely understand waiting for the price to drop, but do you seriously wait until a game gets to be $7.48?

No, I don't mean that I wait to that for all games, but it's insanely easy to do it for the sports games because they come out every. single. year. so you know places like Target will have their yearly clearance on them just to get them out of the way for the new versions. Madden/NHL/NBA/NCAA, all are easy games to get at Target for very cheap. It doesn't require much effort.

And other games are easy to get for, at worst, half price. Games drop to $29.99 whether it be used or on craigslist/ebay before too long, so that's how I buy now. And right now Hollywood Video happens to have a sale going on where all of their used games 29.99 and below are on sale for 4.99. Want to see what I bought yesterday for a total of $50?
