I dont get why it would be necessary to preorder ANY game, much less Madden 10 which will be in any and every store come the 14th.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what's the point? You don't get it any earlier, you don't get a cheaper price..I know sometimes they give out dumb stuff like a "sticker pack" or a T-shirt or something if you reserve your copy, but that is only done so that particular store gets your money.

On August 14th I will walk into Best buy and buy a copy, which they will have a gazillion of.

actually you do get an exclusive early and full demo from gamestop if you preorder. I preordered and got free overnight shipping from gamestop.com

I havnt yet, im going to for the full demo. I usually dont buy Madden & if I do its like Febuary or March but this year looks great & im real excited for it.
