Does anyone remember Madden 2000 or 2001 for PS1/N64 when the coach (think they used Jim Fassel's voice) would chew out the ref whenever he made a controversial call? I distinctly remember Fassel saying this line, "Hey, ref. What game are you watching?" It'd be pretty cool if something like this were brought back as part of the presentation. I know it's too late for this year but going forward, I think it could work.

It wouldn't work out because there would be a generic voice which would eventually get repetitive. I think that the coaches will argue with the refs in Madden 10 though.

i think it would be cool if you can watch a cut scene and here collinsworth saying "coach dont look at happy with that call" and maybe tom hammond saying something along with it. just something that i see/hear on sundays/t.v.

If they're going for the broadcast-feel, then it is fine the way it is. We can't hear the coaches yelling when watching the game on TV unless it is by accident.
