SEASON- playing with all teams

I was wondering if anyone else played through the season using any team they felt like playing with that day? I tried playing a season with just the rangers but my hitting is not good enough, not realistic. Im really enjoying playing with different teams, getting to play in different stadiums, facing different lineups everyday. It feels like I am really getting the whole experience of MLB. By the way after every game I record my stats AB, H, R, etc so I can see how im hitting and pitching thoughout the season.

Yes as a matter of fact I do. I find it boring to play 162 games with the same team. Especially on good pitching matchups, I like to play those. Im a true fan of the game and not just a home town fan.

My friend and I actually do this online except to make it more realistic we play 3-5 game series. Whoever wins 3 wins series and we move onto other teams. This way to get to play with different teams but also other pitchers,not only aces.

I thought I was a True Fan too, but I play only my team's games.

This is my favorite way to play the game. I randomly choose 2 games every day of the season and play them. Even though I'm a Reds fan I like playing w/ every team and playing in different parks. I love following the league leader stats each week.

Here's a question I have though. With all these trades going on in real MLB (ex: DeRosa to StL) is there any way to execute these trades on my season? It looks like I can only control the Reds roster which I selected to start the season? Feedback anyone?

This is exactly how I do it. Now, if we could only mix & match, add Caps as we go, and do whatever all in one Season. MLB certainly rocks and is so much fun. I usually do 6 to 8 sims per baseball season but this year I will continue to add CAPS as guys break-in and play/sim 3 seasons. I usally stop in time to watch virtually every real life playoff game & WS. Goodluck with your MLB experience and thanks for the post.
