Help picking HDTV

I've looked at all three of these and I still can't decide which one to get:

First. is the Vizio VL320M which is going for $550 http://www.vizio.com/product.aspx?id=3396&pid=1506

Next, at the same price point is the Samsung LN32B460 http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/d...LN32B460B2DXZA

Last, is the Sony KDL-325000 which is going for about $500 right now. http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...52921665746294

The Vizio and Sammy both offer a 50,000:1 DCR and the Vizio is 1080p and offers more of the connections that I need right now, but I've heard bad things about Vizio's reliability.

Re: Help picking HDTV

I've had a 32 inch Vizio for over 2 1/2 years with absolutely no problems.

Don't make a decision based on contrast ratios listed on a spec sheet. There is no set standard for calculating it. That makes it near impossible to compare 2 tvs from different companies just looking at numbers. Need to actually see them in action to tell.

I wouldn't let 1080p be the deciding factor at 32 inches. Response time and HDMI inputs are higher priorities at that size.

720p vs. 1080p doesn't become an issue until you start talking 50+ inches. The farther away you sit the less it matters. Most people don't sit 5-6 inches away from their tv.

Re: Help picking HDTV

For me a decision on what the refresh rate is whats important to me, I don't want a blur when I am watching something go fast across the screen, needs to be at least 120hrz.
