Ref-A-Game Mode? Seriously?

I was looking at the Wikipedia page:

and saw it mentioned having a Ref-A-Game mode in 2K10. Google searches turn up similar results. Is this real?

If that's true, then it sounds like a neat feature. I just hope it doesn't come at the expense of gameplay development.

I wonder how much virtual money you'll be able to accept in order to make the "right calls"... I bet it'll be like the Franchise feature, where you have to take into account the financial element...
