The first play when hamlin jumps for the pick drops the ball and turns around in mid air to tackle the Wr behind him. Not as bad as 09 but so far its still in there.

IT's STILL IN THE GAME....

there is a vid on IGN where phill is showing a cpu vs cpu demo talking at E3, steelers vs cards at one point the Db covering a slot Wr, trailing the Wr the Db bats it down then in the same motion jumps on the Wr back slamming him to the ground.

its the same BS i'll try to find the vid there was a thread about id on here where they were talking about the clueless hot chick doing the interview.

I saw this previously and agree with apex.

As an aside: Apex, I viewed a few of your Madden '09 vs NFL 2k5 videos on youtube. I haven't played 2k5 in awhile, so I was glad to see my recollections weren't too off base.

i agree with u apex. thats the one main difference in what makes 2k5's passing game enjoyable and believable. u have to commit to one or the other. u want to have both, u gotta have backup in place. u swat and miss, oh well...ur now outta position and it might be off to the races depending on how many steps u lost/wr gained.

sadly this has already been seen in the new madden 10 vids. that stuff is rooted in the madden architecture it seems and moves forward from yr to yr. i havent seen rocket catching yet, but i still dont believe they removed it from the architecture til i play it for a week or two without it.
