i remember asking ian on os, but i'm not sure if he ever responded. in other words, playing past madden games and trying to challenge was a pain. i would click challenge the play, and the game thinks i want to challenge the spot of the ball instead of the actual fumble itself. fixed or...?

This is a huge issue for me also. I'm really hoping the devs adopted the challenge system APF2K8 had where you had options to challenge more than one thing, depending on what happend on the play. If its not in Madden10, I'm hoping they add this to it with a patch.

I hope this has been fixed... It's one of the games biggest flaws is not being able to challenge something in particular

btw, we haven't seen any challenge video yet. I'd like to see the animations, sideline reactions??, ....

I've always hated the notion of a computer game purposely botching calls so that there could be a challenge system. I wish it could just be turned off. Besides, it is well documented that it is too flawed anyway.

The game is supposed to be a simulation, part of that would be simulating human error, not only for the players, but the refs too.

I had this problem too and sometimes it caused me the game, also there could be a scenario with more then one fumble and they challenge the wroung one, it gets so irritating sometimes.

ESPN NFL 2k5 had the right kind of challenge too and that was 5 years ago
