NCAA FOOTBALL 10 Playoff Option.

Would there be anyway EA could put the option in franchise mode for a playoff system or a BCS system?

I would like to see an option in NCAA Football for an option to do either a playoff or a BCS. I think this would make the game the best college football game I have ever played. Maybe not this year obviously because release is a month away, but maybe next year flirt with the idea. I would like some feedback from anyone interested in this idea. Thanks!

As long as they're using the NCAA license, that would never, ever, ever happen (despite how happy it'd make the players).

Unfortunately, the same money grubbing douchebags who are convinced the BCS is great would never let it happen.

This is the main reason I can't get into this game and the reason I hate college football and boycott the bowls. The BCS is a complete sham, and D1-A football does not have a legitimate champion each year.

NCAA Football 01 had it as an option.

It was pretty awesome too.

I don't see any reason why It can't happen now.

I don't think the NCAA would allow it now. I know they did it for an NCAA game many years back, but with the NCAA Series being so big now, I doubt the NCAA would allow it to happen.

Perhaps OMT can chime in on this?

Well there was an article I read about how some college quarterback is going to sue EA for allowing players names added into the game. NCAA says not to use players names of likeliness, but EA promotes the ability to do so. So why couldn't they have a download option through XBL? If they cannot allow the playoff option how can they allow the downloading of players names?

Because the player names are being created by users and not EA. This option won't happen now unless the bcs system is changed or fcs teams are added to the game with a fcs dynasty mode.
