Please Don't Snub the RAIDERS this year!!!!!

Like the thread title says....





It is my belief that lack of talent has never been the source of our woes...chemistry with new personnel and more importantly play calling has..


Please allow me to explain...



Please understand that I'm fully aware we've been the joke of the league, deservingly so, for the last 6 years. We haven't had a capable game manager since Gruden and i've never had faith in the squad.... NOT ONCE NOT EVEN THE SUPER BOWL YEAR!.... since he left because of our coaching staff and our play calling. We were hyper aggressive in our super bowl year and it cost us dearly in the super bowl as i knew it would to a more fundamental defensively sound Gruden. There was absolutely no balance in our play calling that year.. (and losing our all-pro center Barrett Robbins didn't help, especially when our C Adam Treu was going to have to block Warren Sapp )

My point is, this is the first time that I have faith since then. Our coaching staff is finally one i have faith in (FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE GRUDEN) I know i'm just one person...you can take my word for it if you want, but i saw this drought coming with the rebuilding and the lack of a quality coach the whole time.. the last 6 years came as no surprise to me, and a lot of the unaware would probably blame talent or say al davis was the source of the problem.



Our playcalling down the stretch last year showed me that our coaches and Tom Cable (who will be calling plays this year as well) finally know how to use our talent to the best of our ability. We finished the season on a high note behind Michael Bush's 170+ rushing yds 2 tds against Tampa Bay and kept them from going to the playoffs IN Tampa (which lead to gruden's dismissal). We also beat the hottest team in football in the Houstan Texans (who were on a 4 game winning streak) the week before.



All in all, i know we have roster updates and i know the raiders are going to hold true to my words to earn those ratings but we finished the season with back to back wins so please take it into account!!!

p.s. please don't forget about giving Bush a true-to-life rating, he is a B E A S T. he will be getting a lot of touches this year as Fargas is going to be phased out according to Raider sources. Also Gallery should be a top 10 guard..his metrics and stats were both in the top 10.


Allow me to say i Think you guys have always been fair in terms of giving the raiders pretty accurate ratings but they should be massively different than they were at the end of the year in madden 09. thank you.

ill be honest, i didn't read that term-paper of yours, but i read the last couple of paragraphs, and i have one thing to. the raiders are nasty in madden, no need to complain. and for those of you that dont know about this sleeper team in madden, you should try them. just a couple of roster adjustments, and u got a beast team.

hey i know..cuz we are good!!! you cant deny the talent on this roster..but they can be even better!

i've never had a problem dominating online with them..so that's not even my issue...but this is madden's retirement year...hook us up!!*
