Game shuts off

I was approximately 80 games into my franchise with the Astros (a team I drafted and traded for) when I got to the 2nd game of a 3-game series with the Giants at AT&T and the game shut off. Everytime I tried to move onto that cell, it shut off. I tried simming past that date, and simming the whole season, but same result. I'm pretty pissed that I spent all that time advancing my season and franchise only to have a glitch ruin it.

My question is, has this happened to anyone else? If so, did anyone find a way to bypass this one glitch game so you can continue on in your franchise? Thanks for the help.

Wow that's so weird, I just posted the exact same thing at the same time. I'm at game 115 though.

same problem, with the Cardinals, after winning the July 5th game against the Rockies. Everytime I reload the game, I can go to the schudule, but anything i try to do the game shuts off. couldn't sim past the series, or do anything else.

any help would be appreciated

Hmmm...I was one of the first to note that glitch about three weeks ago...it happened to me in my Mets franchise...specifically the first series in May against the Pirates....

all of the games caused my PS3 to go into dashboard mode

Yep, in short, go to schedule;change to a CPU major league team (R2); and sim past the date.

Great advice here and thanks for the updates. I was able to work around this bug with the posts here. Glad all the time I put into the franchise was not lost.
