Online Coach Mode in Madden 10?

Is it too late to put in coach mode for online? it'll be like the ultimate tecmo bowl, plus it'll appease the casual fans while a different type of challenge for the hardcore as well. God knows, it'll be hell for the cheezers online, but for people like me, I'd get just as much enjoyment beating a person through a tecmo-bowl style mode just as much as actually playing.

Finally, this way you could play the whole game through a broadcast presentation! Both players can only pick plays and audible the current play, hot route, blocking assignments, highlight there number one target alas the orange route finally having some sort of real use and also fix up coverages on defense along with all the defensive adjustments... only thing is, when the offense hikes.. the highlighted player on both sides would be temporarily gone for the play, what do you think?

to simply put, it just gives us the option, rather than forcing us to buy another game. COUGH* head coach 09.

Also, i truly believe this would be the perfect solution to people who want to play true sim football games competitively online right away without the hassle of joining leagues and forming clubs ( although i'll probably do that anyways for online franchise ). Plus, it's a great learning tool for people with limited football IQ. I believe people wouldn't feel too bad about losing this way either ( which is a good thing. ) since it probably wouldn't feel as much of a personal fail when you lose since you weren't directly controlling everything. It'll just be fun. the way the game should be.

EDIT- Also, we could probably build on this and say "co-op online coach mode" being born. where one guy plays as coach for all the players playing together as one team. I'll elaborate more later.

Yes it is to late to put anything onto madden 10. But online coach mode would be to lame for online. But I thinking coaching mode is going to be part of offline. gamplay.

Well, i could care less about coach mode offline honestly. It's the online coach mode people want to play. That was probably the biggest selling point of Head Coach 09, yet that shouldn't warrant a whole new game, just another option of playing style online.

Oh btw- you might think it's boring, but a lot of others apparently don't.

just because I thought Superstar Mode sucked doesn't justify it not being there in the first place, nor removing it completely out the original game to make it into a whole separate game. Which is pretty much what 'head coach 09' did with the 'head coach mode' of LG madden.

I think an online coach mode would be great. It would make the play call choices more exciting, becouse you don't know exactly how well the play will be run. Makes the 4th and short situations alot more interesting. If you ran into someone who went for it all the time you might have an advatage if you played smart football, and played the field position game. Then again knowing when to go for it would be crucial as well. I realy hope they give us this option.

better idea, I want to have the ability to assign the plays as a spectating coach to human co-op teams.

think about that.

You could be the coach. of actual people online.

through headsets, i want to be that guy that gives the inside information to my human controlled QB. i want to be that guy that informs the LBs to look out for a screen. or cover deep... i want to be that guy that picks up on the little things while my players focus on execution.

OMFG. Can we pleasee get this?

Was this the grand plan all along? It'll be like all the modes of previous maddens Franchise mode, Head Coach mode and Superstar Mode... all in one Online Package?

that would be annoying for the people actually playing the game...
