Yeah I'd be lying if I said that didn't have me scratching my head as well.

Re: Rivals ranks top 30 Coaches.

Probably a bit of the ole' bias about how stacked with talent USC always is.

I get that it'd be easier to coach a talented squad but part of the college coaching job is getting them there in the first place so it's a moot point in my book.

Re: Rivals ranks top 30 Coaches.

Mike Riley over Tressel? Rich Rodriguez over Tressel? Jim Grobe at 7? Kirk Ferentz at 5 (This isn't 2005 anymore)?

Are you kidding me?

Re: Rivals ranks top 30 Coaches.

The top 7 should be:

1. Meyer
2. Carroll
3-5. Stoops, Mack, Saban (in any order)
6-7. Richt and Tressell

Les Miles at 28 and Johnson at 30 are ****ing jokes, as is Carroll at #4. Ferentz hasn't done anything to put him in the discussion of top 10, let alone #5.

On a scale of 1-10, this list blows.

If Pete Carroll left USC, I'd rather have Riley take over than Tressel.

No one, and I repeat no one gets more out of less than Mike Riley.
