Madden should get some advice from their NHL team. They are the only EA sports title that is getting it right in almost every area from presentation to gameplay to game modes.

Let's revisit this in August. Not to say that Madden will trump the NHL series or anything; but it'll be evident that the Madden the team is headed in the right direction.

I agree with presentation and game modes, but as far as gameplay goes nothing comes close to FIFA.

I think FIFA's the vastly better game between the two, personally. NHL is great, FIFA's on another level.

I just wish it had some damn sliders.

given that its a new dev team, with a new direction, and all, I say we wait until we play the finished product before telling them to take advice from others.

yea, sometimes I just feel so robbed even though I do like hockey its hard to believe that EA's best sports titles are non American sports...lol

^^^Agreed. I really care for soccer(played a little as a kid and in high school) but it can be a little boring. The thing that FIFA does right is the running, locomotion, the animations and the freedom of ball movement. If Madden could somehow dupicate some of the ways in which moves during the game it would be incredible.

You guys do realize that this will be Ian's first full year with Madden, right?

This year will no doubt be improved, but imagine what the next 3 years will look like...
