Working with CPU AI Lineup "Logic" to make lineups correct

Hiya All....

I have a PS2 and been working on some roster edits for the April 27th update including trying to work around the CPU'S AI Lineup stuff.

For example, Currently, the Cubs CPU AI lineup for the 04/27 update shows

01) RF Milton Bradley
02) 2B Mike Fontenot
03) 3B Aramis Ramirez
04) LF Alfonso Soriano
05) 1B Derek Lee
06) C Geovany Soto
07) SS Ryan Theriot
08) CF Reed Johnson
09) Pitcher

Now by making the following few attribute adjustments:

Milton Bradley Plate discipline = 63
Aramis Ramirez Power = 91 (Right) / 86 (Left)
Derek Lee = Right Contact (87) / Left Contact (83) / Right Power (81) / Left Power (88)

The CPU made the following Lineup using the AI Logic thing....

01) SS Ryan Theriot
02) 2B Mike Fontenot
03) 1B Derek Lee
04) 3B Aramis Ramirez
05) RF Milton Bradley
06) LF Alfonso Soriano
07) C Geovany Soto
08) CF Reed Johnson
09) Pitcher

Not quite right...but certainly better than having Milton Bradley batting leadoff.

For Todd Helton batting leadoff for the Rockies, I increased his Power Numbers (Right Power 79 / Left Power 88) and the AI put him batting cleanup with Tulowitzki leading off. Again, not quite right...but better than Iannetta batting cleanup with Helton leading off.

Now I have tried a number of things to fix Seattle's lineup to make Ichiro bat leadoff instead of third, but so far no avail.

Anyone else doing this kind of thing? Anyone have any luck getting Ichiro to bat leadoff with the AI Logic Lineup thing (With changing player attributes)?

I have done some edits with the some teams (Angels / Indians / Cubs) to make the lineup better in my opinion.

Yes....Knight did that to every team that had goody lineups. You can even download his lineup fix roster....then you wouldn't have to do it.

Nope, it's not. I guess I am on my own with this project apparently since i am getting many views but not many responses. Any way to view Knight's rosters via the computer (EXCEL / MS Word) in order to get some attributes to set some lineups straight?
