Any sites that have 2009 opening day rosters?

I need a site that has them for every team. It seems that google can only get you so far. I can't find the set for the yankees out of all teams. And why doesn't MLB have some kind of release for all the opening day rosters?
Anyway, after Knight is done with his rosters I'll be making my revision, with his permission, with all the injured players who started the year on the DL, minors in THE SHOW, back in the MAJORS for those that want them. That is if I find them all. I'll also try to make a list with all the moves needed move the injured players to the MLB and which players to send down to AAA...
Gotta redeem myself somehow for the mess I made yesterday...

No need to redeem yourself IMO...you tried...you thought you were on to something(so did Millenium and myself)....honest error.

I don't have the site you are looking for, but yeah...no problem with what you want to do at all..

Re: Any sites that have 2009 opening day rosters?

Ok, I think I got all the teams. Maybe 3-5 are not official but I'll still keep looking for those. Can't find the opening day roster for the damn cubs of all teams but I don;t think they had anyone on the DL so going off memory will have to do.
Now, how should I got about doing this? I think like 69 players started the YEAR on the DL, should I put them all back in the MLB or only the ones that are scheduled to return before let's say the all-star break, which is probably most of them. And what about the ones that I can't find info on who was called up to replace them?

Re: Any sites that have 2009 opening day rosters?

There is a link in the roster forum (page 3 i believe) that has all the DL assignments for guys in the MLB to start the year (*Arod, Ichiro, etc).

http://www.operationsports.com/forum...signments.html

I also use www.mlbdepthcharts.com Its not opening day (these are up to date) but it has a history of the moves so you should be able to track each team. Go the the column on the right, select the team and there you go.

I tried using both of those. The list I know about and that's what got me started. depthcharts.com is a bit helpful cause for some teams/players it actually states who was sent up to replace the injured player.

Knights Rosters are set for Opening Day and these have been verified (these are the only ones he did not change due to the player coming up right after the season started, but here they are if you want them to be exact)

1: TB Upton down - Joyce up
2: COL Buchholz down - Morillo up
3: COL Hammel down - Morales up

So you can just look at his for the correct Opening Day Rosters, make these 3 moves and they are EXACT

good to know. So the rosters are accurate or just the starting line ups? Still it doesn't really help cause it doesn't tell me who to send down in order to replace the players that started on the DL. That is th emain purpose of what I'm doing....
