... the big online feature was not Online Franchise, but 5 vs 5 Team Play?

I think I would be neutral. Having either would be awesome. I would much rather OF, but TP wouldn't be too bad. If we can have clubs like in NBA Live, then the feature would be awesome.

I really dont see how that could work with football. I am addicted to NHL 09 because of this feature, but I dont see how it would work well with madden. On the other hand, online franchise is a must imo

I don't play online- I only care about Offline franchise

I would LOVE both!
I love it in Fifa. it works great!

In Madden it could work easily, using the same concept that fifa uses, just expanded for the 3 phases. each player either chooses one player to play in each phase (offense, defense, special teams) or he can opt to be able to choose on each play a different player. the captain of each side (whether it's 5 on 5 or whatever) chooses the play. and if you have chat enabled, you can be like TO and tell your captain hey I'm open!! hit me on the slant! LOL

but having said that, online franchise is long overdue and a must.

Eh, I would give either a try since I am trying to get connected more often. I think both are good concepts, and neither will deter me from buying if I see the right improvements in gameplay, franchise, and presentation

I would be ecstatic! I love playing on the same team as other human players. So to play amongst 4 other players would be cool. Using the microphone to explain the play, go to guy, etc before the snap. I think it would be cool.

How well it would work? Not too sure.
