Computer Clock Management

Something that has plagued the NCAA series for the past few years is computer clock management. I was wondering if anything has been released yet on whether or not the computer will break the huddle sooner in order to run more clock and make drives into a more realistic length. I would really like to see 5,6, and 7 minute drives rather than 2 or 3 minute drives as IRL.

Anybody hear any news on this?

Per the EA inside blog:

Updated CPU Clock Management: We’ve been able to update our CPU Clock Management logic, which now causes our CPU coaches to call time outs when needed late in the half or game. Also, the team that is up will attempt to burn out the clock by running the ball late in the game, or by having the QB kneel the ball (once their opponent has exhausted all three timeouts).

Re: Computer Clock Management

That's good news. I suppose that answers my question; thanks.

Re: Computer Clock Management

On a side note: Don't those two pictures in that blog basically prove progressive lighting is in the game? http://insideblog.easports.com/archi...m-updates.aspx

Re: Computer Clock Management

While there is supposed to be progressive lighting, these 2 pictures are of 2 different games? Look again...Cal vs Stanford & Cal vs USC.
