Not Doing So Good - Help Appreciated

My main problem is my pitching. Do you usually do the pitch that the catcher suggests? Do you usually locate it where the catcher tells you to? I've downloaded the most recent patch and use some sliders that I found but I still give up quite a few HR's, that's actually how the other team usually scores their runs. Also I seem to have a lot of wild pitches. What causes the wild pitches? Sometimes I just miss making the circle full but yet it's a wild pitch so am I not understanding the pitching system right?

Total control or classic? And drop CPU power to 75, some peopel have it at 80, i find that too high, Success at 55-60 contact low like 10 for swings and misses, and power 70-75

Ya really have to max out the yellow circle and also only pitch the pitches the guys have high ratings in, although curves really fool the CPU very well, also make sure you do the motion very well with the right stick or else the pitches will be wild like you said, check you sliders for gesture also, dip that to 50 or even lower

Re: Not Doing So Good - Help Appreciated

Hey,
Thanks for the advice on pitching. I played two games, in the first game I was down 8-0 after the first inning and lost 8-6. The second game I was down 7-0 after the first inning and lost 18-6. If this was football I would feel good.

Who are you pitching as and against? I just started playing and am having a hard time with hitting but pitching has been relatively easy for me so far. I'm playing on Pro difficulty too btw.

If you are really having problems, drop it all the way down to 0. Makes it very easy to hit your spots and you shouldn't see wild pitches unless you are really terrible at the gestures.

Gestures? I thought you just had to move the thumbstick in the first direction. I didn't think the 2nd one did anything.
