Exclamation CPU Always Shoots 65+ %...

Howcome, everytime I play a game the computer is shooting around 70%? I know I can go into the settings and change the sliders, you just would think that something like this would have been fixed a long time ago by 2K.

I would say this is the #1 thing that bugs me most about this game and the main reason why I find it hard to play this game for more than 1 game here and there. It just seems like when I'm playing, the computer hits everything so I'm forced to just drive the lane and take 5 footers all day so I can try and keep pace. All I want to do is play a realistic basketball game!

Confusing...

I would think that they did fix it by giving the user more options to control the settings. If you can control most of the settings, you can control the outcome.

They did fix it. It's called sliders. If you're too lazy to change them then too bad for you.

Wow, what are the odds of the two biggest douche bags in this place responding to my post?

What do you do when you play online? The fact of the matter is the default settings are nowhere near realistic. This post was more of a complaint about the game and it's default settings, not me asking how to make the computer shoot a lower percentage. 2K's goal is to make the most realistic basketball simulation and their percentages are off. That was the only point I was trying to make.

But our point is no game is gonna play like a SIMULATION right out the box, it isn't possible.

Now if 2k didn't include sliders, you would've had a valid point but since 2k gives us OPTIONS, we can tweak the game into our version of "the most realistic basketball simulation".

Just because 2K includes "sliders" in a game does NOT mean they should allow the computer to shoot extremely high and false percentages from the field.

Sliders are very easy to edit to your liking, I understand this. But how come 2k hasn't grasped this concept yet? You would think they would lower them to have a more realistic feel.

All this being said.. What are some good slider settings some of you guys are using for realistic percentages? I'm thinking around 50% (at the very highest)..

I was also thinking about turning up the defensive stopping power (or effectiveness, whatever it's called) because the reason they're shooting such a good percentage is because they keep just driving right past my defender..

Awful logic to say to any paying customer. He does have a legit gripe, and it was something that should've been taken care of out of the box.

..and for the record, no baiting the guys here into arguments with posts like this or red cards will be flying out
