Projected Stats

Personally throughout the real MLB season I look at player profiles and look at the projected stats. I'm not sure why I do but I think the reason is to compare to last season and others at that respective position. I'm wondering if you guys do this and if anyone knows of a projected stat calculator to see if my players in my franchise are up to par. Including it in the game would be awesome too. Thinking about detailed stats, I remember playing the all-star baseball series and one of the nice features they had was on the back of the "player card" (triangle) there would be the last ten games with avg. hr and so on, that too would be a nice addition....I'm rambling on so I'll stop, but I'm interested in what you guys have to say.

What exactly do you mean by projected stats calculator?

Like if you have 20hr through 40 games how many are you on pace for.

Well there are many ways to calculate that. For example, if you have 20 HR through 40 games you can do:

20 HR x 162 games (always stays at this because of season length) = 3240

3240/games played (which is 40) and you have your answer at 81.

There are tons of other ways to do this, but this is just one that came off the top of my head.

Never had someone actually explain something like this, as clearly as you did. Yet it is still simple.
