I have been playing most of my games in game rooms and been getting some real good games with people who play the game like it is supposed to be played. But on the other hand I get players that want to pitch the ball faster than I can get ready and won't give you time to pause for pinch hitter, etc. What I would like is to play with players that play the game seriously and take a little time between pitches and allow the batter a little time to get ready. If interested in playing on-line just dropped me your player name and we can get some good games going. Thanks and LETS PLAY!!!

Pull and hold the r2 trigger when someone is doing that. It stops them from pitching temporarily giving you a little time to compose yourself.

I think you can pause the game too when you do that right? So you'd be able to go for a pinch hitter then?

I cannot stand it when people do that when they know my pitcher's up late in the game.

I'm about ready to venture back online pretty soon, so if you send me a friend request, jim416, we can play some time. I don't play anyone online unless I know them. I remember one guy who played straight up, good player, only thing is every time I played him he was Boston and pitched Wakefield, every time. With a little bit of lag Wakefield was impossible to hit, guess the guy knew it. He'd go ten innings with the guy if he could. I really don't like to play against guys who always use their number one pitchers either.

Last year it was difficult to get a pinch hitter in at some time when opponents were quick pitching. It's much better this year. Just hammering up on the d-pad brings up the quick menu so you can manage bullpens and the bench. I've not once had a problem this year.
