Help:PS3 Won't read disc

Hello & thanks in advance for any help given.

PS3 won't read MLB 09 RTTS. I returned the first one I got cause of the same thing. I can get it to read after taking it out 3-4 times and putting it back in. Will never read if left in after I turn it off.

All other games and dvd's work fine except The Show.

Could there be any reason for this except for unlucky to get 2 bad discs.

Try a friends PS3 or bring it back to the store and have them try it.

During any time did you get a An error has occured where the game would be in you XMB?

Or does it just not read the game?

Just happend to me. Try other games and see if they work. Only thing I am guessing is the Blu Ray laser died / dirty.

Call Sony and tell them, if your under warranty they will fix it ( send you a box for your ps3 and mail it out )

If not, it will cost you like $150 to do it and they replace your HD/laser in the ps3.

Pretty ****ing ****ty if you ask me, they should be fixing this busted **** for free regardless.
