starting line up?????

This may sound ridiculous but I have traded in a player and want to put him in my starting line. I have gone to management and then line ups and put him 3rd in order but he is still not in my starting line up. can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks.

did you put him in all of your lineups? chances are you only put him in like LHP lineup. you have to make sure he is in RHP, RHP w/ Dh, LHP, LHP w/ Dh...

Does the CPU change your starting lineup at all? I have the option checked and the lineup never changes due to fatigue.

I don't think the CPU subs out your starters you have to manually change the batting lineup in the Manager screen. I dont' think there is a way to change the lineup right before the game. If there is please tell me what I'm missing.

You can change it manually before a game by pushing start during the loading screen.
