AI "Hitting:" Inside Edge is BROKEN... (Reason AI is so Aggressive) Phot's inside

1st I'm not gonna take credit for finding this as stealyerface PM me about some editing he did & realized something intriguing.. So after taking what he said & doing my own research he was totally correct.

The INSIDE EDGE Feature for AI HITTING is BROKEN.. How do we now know this well if you pull up the AI IE when Hitting (d-pad:LEFT) you will see every single player has a WALK Tendency of D & an Overall Rating of A or B. Even the scrubbiest of scrubs has an overall rating of A or B & a WALK Tendency of D...

SYF, told me that he edited every batter's walk slider up by 20 & when a batter came to the plate & he pull-up their IE Card there WALK Tendency was still a D..

Another member, I want to say it was Thornie, raised everyone's Walk rating to 100 & they still were Aggressive @ the plate.

Here are pictures I just took that show 3 straight batters with basically the same WALK Tendency D







I will do my best to get this info to Ron over @ 2K, but if any OS Staff see this, could you please forward this post to 2K/VC.

Wow! No wonder the batters are overly aggressive. Not sure why the developers did not catch this. Possibly though it's not broken, maybe it's just what they intended to do for whatever reason, i.e. having a game go by quicker? Anyway thanks guys for finding this, too bad there is not a way to change these "D" walk ratings, hopefully 2K will address this.

LOL, that's fantastic. I wonder if there's any easy way to alleviate that, or if it's how 2k decided it to be. Be a real shame if that still isn't the reason for no walks.

What if we continue with the edit of the walk tendencies, and set the IE Influence to Zero.

Would that then base the tendencies off the edit versus the IE?

I've done this and had zero success.

So putting IE at 0 doesn't help at all? If this issue was fixed it would make the game so much better
