Patch #2 (if there is one) - What would be your patch preferences?

Hopefully Patch #2 is in the works...these are many of the top "concerns" I have noticed on both the OS and the 2K boards. List your concerns in your order form most important to least important...or just list your top 3 or 5.

Even if you haven't played the retail version, feel free to chime in as for some, a future patch of the currently exposed problems will be the determining factor of whether they purchase or not.

-----------------------------------------------------

A) Fix AI batting agressiveness so that they take as close to as many strikes as realistically possible

B) Add back ability to assign and edit batting stances and pitcher deliveries to all players (created and existing)

C) Fix Collision or lack of it. This would include players not running through each other as well as the ability to break up double plays

D) Bring back sliders that were available in previous editions of this game and appear to be necessary to properly tweak this game

E) Bring back editable player ratings that were available in previous editions of this game and appear to be necessary to properly tweak this game

F) Update player profile pictures so that every MLB player has a real picture and is wearing the correct hat

G) Remove any limits that may have been set that limits the number of edits we can do so that those who wish to do so can make the games roster as real and up to date as possible.

H) Fix any stutters in animations that cause a player to misplay or run by/through a ball that should be a routine catch (not actual errors made by the players, but by the game).

I) Make it so there is an option to turn off many or all of the onscreen "fluff" such as swing feedback, strike zones, pitch cursors, pitch markers, etc.

J) Bring back step influence to all swing stick hitting systems (cursor/zone and timing with influence)

-------------------------------------------------------
My list:

1-A
2-B
3-D
4-E
5-G
6-C
7-H
8-I
9-J
10-F
------------------------------------------------------------
I probably should have made a poll, but oh well.

You pretty much said them all.

A would be nice. I don't think they can actually "patch" B, but if they could that'd be good, too. But a lot of that other stuff I don't think they can really patch, if its embedded in the disk. Be cool if they could though.

I'm never going to say never, but I think "C", or the collision issue, would warrant a complete overhaul in the system. The devs for the Show have the same issue, and they mentioned that it would be a huge undertaking. I'm guessing that when you start designing an animation system you figure that it's not like football as collisions between players happen so infrequently - therefore the decision is made to work on other things.

Option I-(fluff) should be addable without too much extra code I would think.

Colored Flash ON/OFF
Strike Zone ON/OFF

I prefer a "clean" batter/pitcher interface, hope they add these options.

Can you add sliders via a downloadable patch?

But make it optional. I personally don't like the step influence.
