Yes and no. If it's patched properly, and quickly then yes. But they can only review the copy they have. I don't think you can have possible patches in mind when rating a game.

We grilled games like NCAA for shipping last year with all their issues. I mean we roasted them. 2K/VC should be held to the same standard.

I always am amazed that us gamers on this site can find all these issues within HOURS of a games release the devs either don't know about, or more likely don't feel is important enough to address until later with a patch.

No, but the demo is supposedly the same as retail, and I feel it plays a very good game of baseball.
