Do you release the Shot Button?

I try to find the Release point to all the players but sometimes i can't get it down. So i just started holding the Shot button down without releasing it. I make WAY MORE JUMPERS!! Is it like a AUTO Shot release? Helped my scoring out alot

Re: Do you release the Shot Button?

It's a timed shot button my man. Go into the practice gym and you'll see the meter under the player.

If it's a perfect release, it'll be green.

I have noticed that the meter is not always accurate. With Kevin Durant it rarely goes in when you get a "perfect release".

Re: Do you release the Shot Button?

The shot animation is so fast, it hard to get it timed. I could be wide open with Mason and he'll miss every 3. Sometimes the shot is released before I let up off the button. It's just weird. On the other hand, if I use the dunk button instead of the shot button behind the arc, it goes in a lot.

BTW, I just discovered how to use Parker's tear drop. Fun Fun Fun

The shot animation is too fast and unrealistic, it must be slow down....

I agree that it's pretty fast.. but at least you can get shots off in this game.. in 2k9, the shots are so slow you get blocked every time unless you're Wide open.
