Sim Stats Vs User Stats

Hi. First of all I'm a total idiot for not getting this game sooner. I bought it used for $10 I think im going to buy a new copy just to show support.

I have a question though, is there a sim qrt length or anything like that for the CPU in the season? Im playing at 7minutes with accelerated clock and my stats are wayyyy low.

If there is no sim quarter length, what should I set the quarters at? Thanks!

I usually run 10-11 min with acc clock or 8-9 minutes without. In season mode you're going to want to have slightly inflated offensive stats (compared to the NFL) if you plan on trying to do things like lead the league in rushing against the likes of the Walter Payton, Earl Campbell and Barry Sanders.

edit: and unfortunately there is no way to set sim quarter length. It gets annoying to see Barry rush for 2500 yards in 10 games.

I haven't seen that. I see usually 1 or 2 rushers get over 2k yards, like 2200. The worst stat in the game is qb ratings and completion %. I'm 8 games into a season and bernie kosar has 85% comp rate, and 142 qb rating. I'm LAST in the league w/ 64% completion! But first in yards and TD's. Recieving and Defensive numbers are pretty good, rushing not bad...qb terrible.
