NCAA Assistant Coaches

How come NCAA cannot have a similar system as madden as far as selecting coaches. Instead of following a particular coach throughout their career?

I think it would be awesome if you could change coordinators, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Recruiting Coordinators, Head Coaches, etc. similar to Madden

And also why can't the NCAA games have coaches names. I understand the players name but why not the coaches?

Re: NCAA Assistant Coaches

it would be sweet if we could hire assistant coaches. and i also wish there could be coach names as well instead of us having to spend an hour or so putting them in.

I don't care if the coaches had real names, I would prefer they just had names. A great idea would be to do what 2k did with baseball prospects who had not yet played a game in the MLB. For example: Cam White of Notre Dame would be the in game counterpart of Charlie Weis.

I would like to have assistant coaches as well. Being able to hire and fire would be great. And a coaching carousel would be great especially if real names were used. Be fun to see like two or three years in the Dynasty someone like Nick Saban or Rich Rod end up at another school.

Real names would be great, but not essential. What we need is a coaching caroucell like CHoops 2k8. Ten years later, I hate seeing Bowden, Paterno, and some coaches with 10-110 records still coaching.

Re: NCAA Assistant Coaches

Why not do do something similar to what they did on old gen and just name the coach after the school and allow us to rename them; UT HCoach = Lane Kiffin, UT DCoord = Monte Kiffin and so on.

I think this is what is desperately needed to add a spark to dynasty mode. As it is, people want to rebuild a one star team and it gets boring after only a few seasons because five star recruits are beating down their door.

What should happen is you have a good coach who makes a bad team respectable then takes off for a BCS conference, leaving you in rebuilding mode again. No matter how well a non BCS school does, they should not be able to recruit as well as a BCS team. For everything Utah did last year, they got one five star and one four star and they were both homegrown.

Instead it should be the coach's ability to ::gasp:: coach that makes two and three star recruits progress and play at a high level.
