Anything been said about the PSP version? I would like to see umpires in the game. Franchise mode a guy can dream right. RTTS interactive with my PS3 version.

08 was a great game on psp, I have to have my MLB The Show on my portable, can't wait for 09, seems no one is really discussing it much..kinda a given when the PS3 version is the most popular, but Sony always puts out a quality MLB game on PSP(we even have received all the weekly roster updates etc on PSP in all previous show versions(06/07/08) which is nice)

I hope the community guys give us some info on the psp version. It's something I look forward to every year. with me being on the go alot. I am also extremely interested in this question. obviously and rightfully so, the PS3 is getting all the hype, but I love the psp version and will be getting it again this year.

I am playing the PSP version now and it plays a great game. Unbelievable for a handheld. The PSP is definitely the handheld of choice for sports.

I think the '08 game is excellent and am looking forward to this year's game on the PSP.

First time I ever played the Show was on the PSP, the 07 version. I just bought it on a whim because at the time I was a big fan of 2K7 on the 360 and didn't care about the Show at all.

I hated the MLB series after MLB 99. I instantly started to love it on the PSP. I just thought it was the coolest thing ever to play as your own guy in a career.

I actually went out, and bought an 80gig PS3 and bought one game, MLB 07 the Show. haha. I loved it a lot more than the PSP version.

I've never been able to go back to the PSP version because of how slow it is compared to the PS3 version. I bought the 08 version on the PSP, but only played maybe 3 games on it, it was just too slow for me.

It's a great game of baseball though for a handheld, probably the best ever.

i will get it for PS3 and PSP

online gaming with the psp was bitter last year but RTTS was a pleasure.
maybe we should make a list with possible players on the psp to find someone to play( without all the tactical tricks some people cheated last year
