WWE DVDs You Recommend?

What are some DVDs you recommend watching or getting?

The Monday Night Wars was pretty good as was The Rock DVD as well.

Right now, I'm still deciding whether or not to get the Wrestlemania XXIV DVD.

Re: WWE DVDs You Recommend?

You really can't go wrong with most WWE DVDs. It's just that some have biography parts and others are strictly matches, so if you're only into one or the other, you have to do a little research beforehand.

WMXXIV was a very good show. I have it on Blu Ray. Many great matches. Edge vs. Taker was awesome. Flair vs. HBK was historic. Another great MITB. And many solid matches surrounding those.

Re: WWE DVDs You Recommend?

Depends on your mood. Just got the Starrcade collection, which, though not perfect, brings some fantastic, old-school matches to DVD for the first time (Magnum T.A. vs. Tully Blanchard, Midnight Express vs. Road Warriors, etc.).

Both 3-disc Ric Flair collections are great choices as well.

I find myself going back to the Steve Austin 3-disc set as well, just to remind myself of my favorite era in wrestling; makes it hard to watch the modern product.

Re: WWE DVDs You Recommend?

There are alot of good E DVD`s out there, i especially enjoy the ones with the Biographys that are not broken into pieces.

Road Warriors
Jake the Snake Roberts
2 Flair DVD`s.
Mr. Perfect
Roddy Piper

There are many more individual DVD`s out there that are great.

The AWA and WCCW dvd`s are good because they are good history lesson and are oraganizations that i watched growing up. Plus they have some great matches on both sets.

If you're looking for a doumentary, the Billy Graham DVD is the best one they've done.

What else can be said about a DVD where VINCE MCMAHON CRIES.

Re: WWE DVDs You Recommend?

Bret Hart's is my favorite. Good documentary and 18 great matches from his career.

Flair's DVDs are good, as is HBK's. Also like Jake The Snake's, Piper, LOD, Austin and Pillman.

I think they all are good (Superstar is also really good) so just choose ones that interest you the most.

I have a list of 5-7 that I need to get.

Re: WWE DVDs You Recommend?

Shawn Michaels was good. The Four Horsemen one is great because Arn Anderson NEVER breaks kayfabe and it's great to watch. My friend and I have a running joke about how he never breaks kayfabe...like, "Man, if I were dying, I'd want that George Clooney to be my doctor!". We just like to imagine he thinks that everything he reads and sees is real...

The Jake DVD is good, the Dusty DVD is good, the Hulk STILL rules is good (but NOT the Hogan anthology). My friend has every one and the ones with documentaries usually are the most rewatchable.

McMahon's was my favorite.
