Strictly sports gamer

I was curious how many here at OS only play sports games. I have tried to get into other games but I always find myself playing sports games more then anything else. I buy non-sports games but they end up sitting around collecting dust. I even end up buying older sports games that I enjoyed (such as High Heat and MVP baseball).

I even bought a PS3 last year just so I could play MLB The Show.

I would like to know who else is strictly a sports gamer.

I play only sports games with one exception. Rock Band 2

A vast majority of the games I play are sports games, save Guitar Hero and GTA IV.

I pretty much exclusively play sports games with the exception of Call of Duty and a few other games. Still, I'd say 90-95% of my gaming time is spent on sports games.

I play other games, but when I bought my Xbox (though it was the Halo edition), I only bought it with the intent of playing sports games, with the exception of the NHL and SSX games (because of the controller).

I've begun to expand what kinds of games that I buy, mostly because of the intro to these music games. But aside from the occasional SOCOM/GTA game, and with the exception to my purchase of Little Big Planet... it seems as though I'm strictly a sports guy.

Of course, I'll play/rent/download other games, but normally I won't get to buying them. The biggest reason is because I don't feel that even a 20 hour campaign is worth $60, but that's just me. There needs to be more replay value than that.

I have exceptions here and there... but 98% of the time I play sports games.

I've played SimCity4 till I got tired of the glitches. Now I'm strictly sports.
