Just got FIFA 09... couple of questions

Hello everyone, I just bought FIFA 09, and just wanted to ask a couple of questions.

I read somewhere about changing the "assisted" controls to manual are better? how-so?
and how many minutes do most of you play?

To change the "assisted" controls, go to Xbox 360 controller settings.

I play 7 minute halves, and it seems to be just right.

as a recommendation, I would say play the game a bit to get used to the controls in general. once you feel comfortable, bump them down to semi-assisted. If you drop straight down to manual, you're going to feel completely lost.

if your goal is to play all on manual, then yes. Certain people progress differently but I would recommend probably 5-10 games assisted on semi-pro then move to pro with everything assisted.

Once you feel you've got a hold of pro, move back down to semi-pro but switch everything to semi-assisted. From there on out you're on your own but I hear that even the best FIFA players play manual everything on semi-pro. Be patient, be willing to accept losses and you'll be alright.
