08 Franchise Rosters Transfer to 09 edition?

On principal and for support, I will buy the new MLB editions from SCEA every year.

If there was a way I could transfer my 08 franchise rosters, stats, etc to the 09 edition I would be in heaven.

Not sure there is enough demand for this though as I'm one who will play the 2008 season and then retire the game until spring training 09 while I do my NHL chise. And I'm anxious for March because I got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs this year.

Would be cool if a transfer of rosters and stats from my franchise could easily be done instead of manually attempting it.

Either way, all this hype and past performance from SCEA indicates that I will shell out $$ for the 09 game anyway.

This would be ideal. Especially if you play every game, it's very hard to get past 1 season in a year.

I know we are always referencing other games...but High Heat had the ability to transfer rosters(or franchises?...can't remember) from one version to the next....It would mess some things up...but it was a cool feature.

That is a cool idea..It would be cool if we could import at least the stats from the 08 game into 09.

Re: 08 Franchise Rosters Transfer to 09 edition?

i dont get the thing with this, at leas for me and maybe a few others we play mulitple seasons on every game we have ever had. why would you want to take the stats from a game that has MULTIPLE seasons in a franchise mode and put them in a new game and not have it mean anything. at that point why even have a franchise mode in our games anymore then. if your wantting that you dont need a franchise mode anymore right..

i plan on not only playing both 08, and 09 but running two pages the best i can this year over on DM. i will continue my 08 season into season 2, and start a new season with 09.

also to make your transfer thing work you would need to just import everything out of your chise, including your goals and etc etc etc... what is the difference of that and palying a second season in your current chise in the old game... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOTHING..

so i guess what im tryin to say is what is the point???
