Re: Lucky Year In NBA History

David Stern Announcement: David Stern came out told ESPN something that should have never happened. Here is what David Stern had to say. "The NBA is going through some hard times. It looks to me that the NBA is a eight team league, consisting of the Lakers, Cavaliers, Mavericks, Celtics, Pistons, Suns, Spurs, and Rockets. That is all about to change. Next Monday is going to be the day of all days in NBA history. The NBA is going to go through its first and last NBA draft under my commishioning. Thank you for all your time and I will see you next Monday in Liberty, Missouri. That is the middle of the United States, of states that don't have a team." Yes that was a real time conference with David Stern.
We ESPN have a sneek peek at the first ten teams in the NBA Fantasy Draft.
  1. Mavericks
  2. Knicks
  3. Bobcats
  4. Bulls
  5. Nets
  6. Nuggets
  7. Lakers
  8. Jazz
  9. Pacers
  10. Grizzlies
The next twenty teams have no sertain order right now.

  4. Bulls
  5. Nets
  6. Nuggets
  7. Lakers
  8. Jazz
  9. Pacers
  10. Grizzlies
  11. Pistons
  12. Celtics
  13. Heat
  14. Cavaliers
  15. Suns
  16. Warriors
  17. Raptors
  18. Clippers
  19. Magic
  20. Spurs
  21. Super Sonics

We at ESPN have also found out who the Mavericks want to pick up for their first pick and the NBA's Fantasy Draft's first pick. Sources tell us that the Mavericks are interested in Kobe Bryant, Dwane Wade, and Kevin Garnett. Right at this moment the Mavricks have their eye set on KG more than anybody else.

  11. With the eleventh pick the Pistons choose Ron Artes, going with defense.
  12. As the Celtics were wishing to get Kevin Garnett in a trade before the Fantasy Draft was announced on Tuesday, the Celtics get their wish and pick up Kevin Garnett.
  13. The Heat select Allen Iverson as they needed shooting.
  14. With the fourteenth pick in the draft, the Heat select All-Star, Dirk Nowitzki.

  27. The Hornets pick a great ball handler in Manu Ginobili.
  28. The Bucks choose a shooter also like the 76ers and pick Andre Iguadola.
  29. The Wizards settle with Rishard Lewis as their first round draft pick.
  30. With the last pick in the first round of the NBA Fantasy Draft, the Trail Blazers go with defense also and choose Ben Wallace.
Thank you for listening to the picks of the first round. I hope you are satisfied with the picks. That concludes the coverage of the NBA Fantasy Draft."

Hello welcome back. It's me Stephen A. Smith reporting back. After the whole NBA Fantasy Draft finished I thought I would tell you I thought the real winner was. I think the real winner of the draft was the Indiana Pacers. Their whole starting five consists of stars. They have Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul, Lou Deng, and big man Zydrunas Ilguaskas. The were the real winners in this draft.
Now with the losers of the draft. I think the Miami Heat were the big losers of the draft. They only picked up one good player. That was Allen Iverson. The Trail Blazers did better than them picking up Brandon Roy, Dwight Howard, and Ben Wallace. Yes, AI was a good first round pick. It's not like the draft went backwards in the second round. It was the same order. O'Well. We will just have to see how they do in the regular season. Thats all that matters right now. I'm Stephen A. Smith reporting from Liberty, Missouri, at the NBA Fantasy Draft. Now you will see the Arizona Cardinals take on the San Fransisco 49ers on ESPN's Monday Night Football. Good Night Everybody."

Re: Lucky Year In NBA History

Bidding Time?
It seems that a lot of teams are intrested in Rajon Rondo. The Celtics show intrest in him, as well as the Pistons. The Nuggets went ahead and offered Rondo a two year contract. The Nuggets currently have three spots open to fill. The Nuggets also placed an offer on Maurice Ager, who also has a lot of attention. They offered him a two year $865 K contract. Currently the Suns, Bulls, and Heat are looking to sign Ager. Both you talented players will get back to the Nuggets in a couple of days.
