A 'thanks' Steph + Iminurbase thread...

I threw more questions at these guys than most...some of the questions were tough.

But they always answered all questions + did their best to help wherever possible.

I've worked for big organisations and I know these guys are getting paid to do this + it's job etc etc etc...

But their responses, IMO, have been genuine and not just "PR rhetoric".

These guys really are a breathe of fresh air at EA Sports.

The game's been out a while / patch has come and gone / things like the IR problem have been fixed quickly...there's not a lot more they can do or add.

I'm really enjoying the game and would like to say "cheers fellas".

I'm sure a few of you would like to say thanks also. It's been a real difference to EA historically....

I concur. The devs have done a great job answering questions, providing valuable info and insight to a franchise that has been in dire need of new direction and leadership. Thanks guys. My loyalty to EA has really been tested the past few basketball seasons, but my faith has been renewed with an overwhelming sense of excitement and joy.

The IR problem isn't fixed.

I know Steph on a somewhat personal level.
He's a really good guy and has a lot of enthusiasm for what he does.
Beluba brings over 2k know-how, which is a good thing.
Iminurbase also seems to be over here a lot, which is great.

Frankly, I owe Steph.
Last year he convinced me NHL had rebounded - and, oh boy, did it.
This year, he invited me to the NCAA 09 Community Event and I got a half-hour with Live (and 12 hours with NCAA) and came away convinced the games were improved ... and this is coming from a previous 2k hoops diehard.

I was impressed with how much the NCAA developers were listening to us at the community event and hope to attend a similar NBA community event.

All that said, even Steph couldn't talk me into Facebreaker or Fifa Street.
