Edit Be-A-Pro midseason

I cant seem to figure this out. Is it possible to edit my be a pro player during a season? I can edit his equipment, but I mean his "Player Type" (ie...Defensive Defensemen to Offensive Defensman, or Grinder to Playmaker?) When I go to Edit be a Pro in my season screen this is all grey and uneditable. Only from the main menu can I change these things, but it doesnt carry over to my season...Thanks for the help!!

yeah you can't change. it obviously would screw with the accomplishments part of the mode, but who cares. i wish you could switch positions and roles whenever you wanted.

This was one of the things I wished they included in the Dynasty mode. You should be able to change your player style and realign your experience points.

Then again, a lot of people wanted realistic, simulation style gaming (me being one of them). It wouldn't be realistic to unlearn things you've already learned in your sports career.

That is true, but I dont think you would need to "unlearn" anything. Rather re-adjust the amount of experience points (XP) earned at the end of each game. A rookie could come in the league a sniper in AHL, but simply a grinder in the NHL. This happens alot in the NHL, where guys change/alter their style of play from NCAA, Juniors...etc to play in the NHL.

But you wouldn't be as good as the grinder who's commited to that playing style since before he entered the NHL/AHL. You don't just automatically become the best faceoff man, just because one day you decide you want to be a center.

Can you even just change position from one wing to another?

I had to restart my BAP season 10 games in because I decided I'd much, much rather play on the RW than the LW... I couldn't find any option to make this very, very simple change.

Jingling...While I respect your opinion, I do not agree. An example of this would be a guy I had the priveledge of going to college with, and watching play in the CCHA (NCAA), Chris Kunitz, now a Winger for Anaheim. I watched Kunitz play for 2 years, and he was a highly skilled "Sniper" you could say. Didn't play the rough stuff, skated around, made mince-meat of defenders that were forced to pick up their jock strap after he turned them inside out and put one top shelf.
Fast forward to Kunitz in the NHL. Still scores, not at the rate he did. Still puts up assists, not at the rate he did. Now is more of a Small Power Forward/Grinder. Reason being, perhaps, the talent level is so much higher in the NHL that he had to change his game up. Now fighting now and again, throwing his body around...etc.

See my point?
