O.S outsiders [post patch edition]!!!

portlandblazer and nogster are the O.S outsiders.

ive just uploaded the newest version of our rosters guys.
simply titled: O.S outsiders

its obviously a post patch roster.
so all the changes i made in my tendency thread are in it, the game stats will now be back on point. for any of you guys using older outsider rosters with the patch, the simmed stats will be off.
this roster fixes that.

ive also globally edited the strength attribute for all players.
to try and get a better balance with the patched post game, where u can hardly back down anyone and we were seeing centers being pushed away from teh basket by swingmen..
hopefully this counter balances it somewhat. i didnt drastically change them though. as i dont want to fundamentally change up the game. and the results will be minimal but at least ive given the good post players a fighting chance and increased the strength discrepency between bigs and smalls.

thats about it really..
obviously ive made some subtle changes to certain players to stay up to date.
harris has recieved a nice rating boost.

portlandblazer will probably release an update on this some time. and he will release an offline transfer file as well for those that dont have 2kshare.
so for those guys. just be patient.
for the rest of u, go get it!

What else, besides strength & the stuff u mentioned, did u change? I'm currently using v6 w/ my own changes (mainly tomba's speed edits & iso assignments, my raised & lowered players potential & updated contracts.)
I'm asking because I really don't want to go thru & edit all this AGAIN cause of the post-patch ridiculousness, thanks 2k!
Also, did u change sliders at all cause there's a lot of talk going around about reverse slider effects.

Re: O.S outsiders [post patch edition]!!!

as well as changing up the strength attribute for the players,
i changed the ratings of a few players.. harris, roy, rose, granger to name a few.
all the tendenciy and coach profile changes i post in my stickied thread.
i changed up the rotations a little. ie: the thunder have wilcox and westbrook starting now, and the twolves have collins starting at C. etc..

if u keep up to date with the tendency edits i post, u dont really need to start all over again..
i understand first hand how annoying and time consuming that is, so just stick with what you use now if u like.
i can give u the general scale i used in globally editing the strength attributes.
it really wont make much difference though. 2k went so far in the extreme that it almost makes the attribute redundant. well not redundant. but no where near effective enough...the discrepency between offense and defense player must be huge for you to be able to backdown. and also. i didnt want to change up the scale too much as strength also contributes to other intangibles on the court i believe...like driving the lane and attacking the basket and not getting pushed off your direction and/or being able to continue flowing through with a shot if contact is made for and 1's. that sort of thing.

anyways..
PG.. nearly all pgs are in the 50's.. the exceptions are for example, billups [65] bdavis [67] etc, the bigger stronger pgs that utilize the post in reality when they are faced with weaker opponents. they are 65 and under.

SG. i believe i put all sgs under 70. kobe and wade are 70. i think all others are under. [not that it will make much difference..sigh..]

SF.. most swingmen are generally under 70. exceptions are like lebron [80], maggette [75], anthony [72], the guys that are powerful and are hard to contain when attacking the basket. as well as some of the bigger SFs with known post games.

PF. the finnesse guys that are not known as post defenders and/or dont really post up are in the 70s. the notable low post guys, kg for instance i have had to raise to the high 80s even 90s to give them a fighting chance. as these guys are both good at post off and def. [what do those attributes do now?..sigh. specifically what does post D do? it seems to have little use with strength being the primary hold ground/backdown attribute]

C. same as pf. although generally the bigger and heavier they are. the stronger i made them. generally.
