Charging fouls are out of control

What is the deal with all thee charging fouls.. I swear I so much as tap a defender in the paint I get called for it. Ive got the slider set alomst to zeo.

Anyone have any tips for reducing the number of calls? Other than that I am really enjoying the gameplay.

I was thinking the exact same thing, it's ridiculous. Like even when the defender doesn't fall over, you can get a charging foul for it. And you can hardly back a defender down for longer than a second or 2 without getting a foul. It's really frustrating.

Another knock I have is how easy it is to make it inside. You can pretty much just press X, when inside the paint, and the shot will most likely fall. I'm getting tired of it.

I think this game is great, don't get me wrong, but there's still quite a few flaws. There's some awesome potential though.

I turned my sliders to Zero and I dont get nearly as many calls.

The lack of blocking fouls is what makes me

I've always wondered how its a charge when both guys go up and collide, I imagine charges as more of my guys running down the other guy or lowering his shoulder, not blatantly getting fouled by the other guy then getting the foul on him.

Re: Charging fouls are out of control

1) Max out your charge/block slider and see if that gets you a better result. (it worked for me)

2) When backing down a defender, you cannot continously use the L stick to back him down or he'll flop thus resulting in a charge, block(slider maxed out) or no call. Use the R stick to make manuevers, and if going to use the L stick, don't press it directly at the defender for a lengthy time.

3) If you're trying to use the L stick to back the defender down and its not working, throw the ball bakc out of the post and start again.

Re: Charging fouls are out of control

I honestly don't see anywhere near enough charges, maybe one or two per game.

play against UNLV. T-Will picked up 3 in the first half. And then fouled out in the second half due to being called for charging. No I'm not kidding.

He had 4pts 1reb 1ast, 5 fouls in 11 minutes of basketball. I was pissed.
