Drake and Iowa rosters

Can someone with the updated rosters post the names numbers and ratings for Drake and Iowa. I am wondering how accurate they are. I am getting the game soon but was just curious.

Also, I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but how do you get the rosters for 360? I know there is a patch for the game but that doesn't have rosters does it?

I'm not sure about specific player stats but they have Drake as a half-court team.

I believe their offense was B-, Defense B, and overall B-.

Going to guess your a Drake fan. Good luck in the Valley this year.

Yeah, I'm an Iowa fan but live in Des Moines and so I always go watch Drake and last year was just kind of a bonus. They lost a lot of offense and have struggled at times early on this year, but I'm still hopeful...

Well, if you're an Iowa fan, maybe you could give me some more info. on what to look for in Tony Freeman next year. I know he lead Iowa in scoring and is supposed to be pretty athletic.

Drake had an amazing year last year. The Valley may have been down last year (and are looking to be again this year with a bunch of very young squads) but Drakes season was incredible! Talk about a Cinderella season. Basically going from a no-name to nationally ranked and regular season AND MVC-tourny titles! Crazy! Too bad Keno bailed for Providence. Going to be interesting to see how they do this year under Phelps.

He is good, he just wasn't seeing eye to eye with coach. He doesn't really fit in Lickliter's system, he tried to be more flashy than everyone else. We're not a flashy team haha. All in all, good player in wrong system.

Drake looked good tonight, final score was closer than the game they had a big lead in the 2nd half. Beat Steve Alford and New Mexico down in Cancun.

I wonder how he'll fit into Lowery's system then. We usually don't play with much "flash" either. We have a slow, grind-it-out, hard-nosed defense system.

Glad to know Drake's still looking good. I'm worried about them. They have one FANTASTIC year then they loose vital players and their coach. Well, at least they already proved they can do the impossible!

I'll try to post rosters and overall ratings for Drake and Iowa tonight man.

Re: Drake and Iowa rosters

Sounds good. Appreciate it. I might even go get the game tonight or tomorrow. Just been really busy. From what I saw last year, SIU is pretty similar to Iowa. No star players, just a good team offense and defense, getting good shots not making stupid plays. When Iowa doesn't turn the ball over, they win a lot of the time. It's just like Butler and that's where Lickliter came from, nobody really knows anyone on their team, but yet they are still always good. You knew the Graves kid from a couple years ago, and now I know of Matt Howard cuz they played Drake and he was all over the place. But nobody stands out really.

It's all good, fundamental team basketball. That's what I like to see. We have so much talent on our team now that a "star" is bound to be born, but the ball tend to be spread out so well (this year and in the past) that no one person truly stands out. For example, Bryan Mullins currently averages the 2nd most assist in the nation, but, again, it doesn't really stand out. We're just focusing on fundamentals, especially with these young guys.

Here are the squads with their overall rating:
* Detonates Starter

Iowa
Ovr: B+
Off: B+
Def: B+
Tempo: Half-court

Palmer 77
*Broomer 80
Tate 75
Cole 72
*Fuller 81
*Kelly 73
Bawinkel 68
*Gatens 74
Angle 72
Davis 69
Peterson 73
*Tucker 75

Drake
Ovr: C+
Off: C+
Def: C+
Tempo: Half-court

Jones 82
*Cox 80
*Heemskerk 74
White 68
*Templeton 66
Eaddy 72
Hall 72
Avery 67
*Young 85
Wedel 67
*Stanley 68
Baryenbruc 69
Parker 73
