Blake Griffin vs Michael Beasley

Is it just me, or are these two guys freakishly similar?

Obviously Griffin is a sophomore now but watching him play is eerily similar to watching Beasley play last year, except I think Griffin is a lot more polished with his post play, and he seems stronger. Beasley might be the better shooter, but otherwise I have to give the edge to Griffin.

Not only that, but they look similar, face wise kinda.

Beasley had a more overall polished game as a true freshman and like you said a better outside shot. Griffin just played like a kid that was bigger and stronger then anyone on the court, lot of times he was. Beasley was a more natural scorer and had more moves. Griffin was just a truck down low and worked harder on putbacks.

Beasley's skill set, feel for the game, etc is much greater than Griffin's right now. As said above, Griffin was pretty much bullying people last year because he's a man amongst boys at the college level.

I do think Griffin will end up being a better pro though.

I think that Beasley was a great player, but yes i can see the similarities between the 2.
