Stephen Curry

Don't get me wrong, I have a ton of respect for this kid, but I just feel like he is not going to live up to all his hype this year. Last year I thought Davidson's glue guy was Richards (PG, I'm not sure if that was his name) not Curry. Now Curry has who, Lovedale? Anyone else think he will drop off this year?

Re: Stephen Curry

I personally don't see how he's going to play point guard. That can't be good for them.

Re: Stephen Curry

He's definitely not a PG. The guy is great without the ball and obviously needs to be the primary scorer. Hopefully after a couple of games Davidson will realize that and insert another PG.

I don't think he'll have a problem living up to the hype, though. Considering he doesn't play in a major conference, his talent and tremendous offensive ability should still stand out against the opponents he'll face.

Re: Stephen Curry

I can't see him playing the point either. You see his stat line from their first exhibition game against Lenoire-Rhyne? Sure, he scored 41 but he turned the ball over 8 times. That might fly in the SOCON, but it won't work against Duke.

Re: Stephen Curry

2 words...over rated. hes going to have a sophmore year slump. he had like 3 big games in the tounrey last year whoopy dew. No one new of this guy a year ago. He plays in a small conference against small players thats why hes sought to be so good. I think he will put up decent figures but nothing spetacular...but he could surprise us again.

Dude averaged 26 a game last year, don't confuse him with Joe Alexander.

1. Considering Davidson played 4 games in the tourney, 3 out of 4 is pretty good.

2. A majority of college hoops fans knew about him after he dropped 20 per game as a freshman.

3. He put up the same gaudy numbers when he played top tier teams.

kthxbye.
